Sorry I missed last week - totally forgot it was Tuesday until it was Thursday ... it was just one of those weeks.
Saw the bariatric surgeon yesterday for my 6-month follow-up. Vitamin D level is low - will work on that. Calcium is a borderline low - will work on that. Not eating enough protein - will work on that.
Protein - plan to tackle that by eating an additional Greek yogurt everyday. Vitamin D - the doc gave me a prescription so I'll get it filled. Calcium - I'll double the supplements I take and will add some milk & cheese in my diet - for instance, if I eat a LC meal I'll eat the protein from it, throw away the rice or pasta and replace it with some cheese. If I cook a protein I'll complement it with another protein, maybe a boiled egg. Today I'm going by the seafood shop to pick up some fish - ones that will freeze so I'll have them on hand.
