155. I actually reached my goal last week on Wednesday. So, it did happen by the end of the year. Cool.
Quiche ... it's been a staple for me because 1) it's high in protein, and 2) it's fairly easy to eat. If anything about it is going to give me a problem it's the crust so I avoid it. I've made a number of quiches and they're super easy to make, plus I can control the ingredients. I easily get 8 servings out of a pie.
I go back to the bariatric surgeon next week for the 6-month follow-up and, probably, bloodwork.
Even though I've reached my goal, the surgeon said I could expect to continue losing maybe another 10-15 lbs. but then I would gain some back and probably settle at a weight of 150. He's been spot on so I have no reason to doubt what he says. I'll see if he says anything different next week.
2012 is off to a good start.
